Stir-Fried Broccoli and Water Chestnuts

1 bunch (1 pound) broccoli
1/4 cup peanut or vegetable oil
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil, optional

Cut broccoli into small flowerets. With shrap knife, remove coarse green sections from stems; then slice stems crosswise into thin slices. In Farberware® Electric wok, add oil. Set heat control dial at 250°F. When light goes out, add broccoli flowerets and stems, water chestnuts, salt, sugar and water. Cover. Steam about 5 minutes. Remove Cover and stir occasionally until broccoli is tender crisp. Stir in sesame oil. Serve immediately.
