Holiday Asparagus
A great way to spice up asparagus!

1 pound thin, young asparagus
3 plum tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
2 thinly slice scallions
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Place large frying pan on medium heat. Put olive oil in frying pan. Thinly slice entire scallions and add to hot oil in the frying pan. Peel and mince garlic cloves, adding to scallions in frying pan. Seed and chop plum tomatoes. Once scallions and garlic have softened add asparagus to pan and lower flame and cover pan. Turn asparagus after four minutes; after 8 minutes add tomatoes and continue cooking until tomatoes are thoroughly heated (about four minutes). Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Be sure to cook the oysters very soon after you get home because once they are shucked, they lose freshness.
