Orange Essence Prune-Glazed Pork Chops

1/2 cup prunes, Sunsweet Orange Essence Pitted, cut into quarters
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
4 pork chops, trimmed
salt or fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Crisco® Vegetable Oil

In a small saucepan, mix the prunes, brown sugar, vinegar and pumpkin pie spice. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until prunes are tender and sauce-like. Keep warm.

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat the skillet until hot, brush with oil. Add chops, cook 5 minutes. Turn and cook 3 to 5 minutes longer or until done. Spoon the prune sauce over the pork chops.
