Artichokes a la Grecque
This is a really easy artichoke salad to make which is good if you are having a party and you want to impress your guests with this fancy recipe.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes


2 cans (1 pound each) artichoke hearts, small, and liquid
1/4 cup vinegar
1 bay leaf, crushed
4 sprigs celery leaves, chopped
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 slices lemon
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Drain artichokes, reserving liquid. Simmer artichoke liquid and all other ingredients except artichoke hearts for 15 minutes. Strain hot mixture, discarding vegetable pulp remaining in the strainer; pour liquid over artichoke hearts. Cool. Marinate 3-4 hours in refrigerator. Drain artichokes before serving as salad or appetizers.
